“HEDGE” Plant Protectants are eco-friendly fungicides/insecticides that are safe for organic growing. Numerous trials have repeatedly demonstrated the products’ ability to help a wide variety of plants resist certain mold, mildew and plant-diseases, as well as infestation by small chewing and nuisance insects. “HEDGE” Plant Protectants are a 25b Minimum Risk Pesticide and leaves no trace pesticidal residue in lab analysis. “HEDGE” Products are listed as safe for use in organic production by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) and are considered a Minimum Risk Pesticide in the United States.
“Hedge” Plant Protectants work differently than traditional pest management solutions. Rather than chemically attacking pests, “HEDGE” Plant Protectants bond to the surface of the plant forming a botanically-infused protective layer that pests do not like. Small aphids and nuisance insects avoid treated plants. When plants infested with aphids are sprayed with “HEDGE” Plant Protectants, the aphids leave in search of a different plant more suitable to their liking. Plants treated with “HEDGE” Products are also more resilient and able to defend themselves against infection from certain fungal diseases such as Powdery Mildew, Brown Spot and Coffee Rust or Roya.
The protected plants demonstrate an increased ability to process light energy; growers commonly report treated foliage appearing a deeper shade of green with plants displaying an overall look of “robustness”.

Application
- “HEDGE” Plant Protectants are best applied with an electrostatic spray application ensuring all plant surfaces are covered evenly.
- Treatment of healthy plants on a weekly basis is recommended through the entire growing cycle ("sick" plants require an initial "rescue treatment" prior to weekly maintenance). “HEDGE” Products carry no harsh fumes [slight rosemary scent that fades] and are safe to freely use around people and the surrounding environment. “HEDGE” Products can be applied all the way through harvest .
- It is important to spray all parts of the plant, including the underside of leaves, which can be difficult to do without electrostatic sprayers. Plants must be free of any type of wax, oils, powders or other coating products in order for Plant Protectant to be effective.
